Stauber Celebrates Accomplishment as Construction on Line 3 Permitted to Move Forward

MINNESOTA – Today, Congressman Pete Stauber (MN-08) released the following statement after the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) issued the final permit necessary for construction on the Line 3 replacement project to begin.

"Today's news is a massive victory. After six years of review, the Line 3 replacement project has passed every test, met every rigorous standard and will finally be allowed to move forward. I have supported this commonsense project from the beginning and I'm grateful to every Minnesotan whose steadfast advocacy helped get us to this point. I now look forward to seeing thousands of Minnesota's skilled workers and union members get to work on this project and help unleash economic prosperity in our communities."
