Stauber to Host Service Academy Nights
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Pete Stauber (MN-08) announced today that his office will be hosting two Service Academy Nights for individuals interested in applying for a nomination to one of our nation's service academies.
"One of the greatest honors of my job is nominating deserving, well-rounded individuals for our nation's prestigious service academies," said Stauber. "As a husband to an Iraq-war veteran, I have great respect and gratitude for anyone who wishes to defend this great nation and am eager to help any brave Minnesotan who answers the call to serve."
During these events, attendees will hear about the applications process for each academy as well as the Congressional nomination process. Representatives from the U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and U.S. Naval Academy will be in attendance to answer questions.
