Stauber Invites Students to Participate in 2020 Congressional Art Competition
HERMANTOWN, MN – Today, Congressman Pete Stauber issued an invitation to high school students who reside in Minnesota’s Eighth District to enter the 2020 Congressional Art Competition. Every year, Congress holds an art competition to highlight talented young artists throughout the nation. The winner from each Congressional district will have their artwork displayed in the United States Capitol for the following year.
Of this competition, Stauber stated, “I am pleased to announce that my office will once again be accepting submissions for the annual Congressional Art Competition. Every day, when I walk the halls of Congress, I pass by the winning artwork on display from last year’s Congressional Art Competition. I am in awe of the talent on display and am incredibly excited to see what students from Minnesota’s Eighth Congressional District come up for this year’s competition.”
All artwork must be submitted to Stauber’s Hermantown office by May 1, 2020 at 4:00 PM. For a full list of rules, click HERE.
Students with questions should call Marilyn Rendal in his Hermantown office at 218-481-6396.
