Stauber Speaks on the Disastrous Green New Deal

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Pete Stauber (MN-08) spoke on the House Floor to outline the harmful impact the Green New Deal would have on Minnesota.

Congressman Stauber said (in part): "The little things that we take for granted every day are powered by conventional energy. The Green New Deal would have a severe impact on every aspect of our daily lives, something that northern Minnesotans do not want or need. The Green New Deal would force every Minnesotan family to turn in their cars for electric vehicles and retro-fit their homes to run on renewable sources like solar or wind. I understand elites from DC and New York City may love this plan, but I know the reality."
