Stauber Statement on Mueller Report
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Pete Stauber (MN-08) released the following statement in response to Attorney General William Barr's principal summary of the findings of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation:
"The Department of Justice's summary of the Special Counsel investigation reveals there was no coordination or collusion between President Trump and Russia in the 2016 Presidential election. I am pleased that the Mueller investigation has finally come to a close and believe it is time move forward, together, as a nation. As Americans, we live in the greatest nation on earth, but we are tired of the political games. Our country wants us to work together to improve access to healthcare and reduce the costs, defend critical programs like Medicare, Social Security, and Medicaid, protect American workers from unfair trade deals, fix our crumbling infrastructure, increase access to broadband, and create a safe and legal immigration system. I now urge my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to come together so we can begin to find shared solutions to these pressing challenges facing our nation."
