Stauber Statement on the State of the Union Address

Today, Congressman Pete Stauber (MN-08) released the following statement on President Biden’s State of the Union address.

“With Joe Biden, it’s more important to watch his actions than listen to his words. When Biden took office, inflation was 1.4% and gas prices were averaging $2.39. Today, inflation is 6.5% and gas prices are averaging $3.45. This is not a cause for celebration. His far-left agenda has led to inflation that’s crushing American families, a wide-open southern border and a crime crisis debilitating our cities. Our House Republican majority has a Commitment to America, and we will hold this Administration accountable while proposing our solutions to restoring a strong economy, returning safety to our communities and securing our supply chains.”
