Stauber Statement on Vice President Pence’s Visit to Minnesota

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Pete Stauber (MN-08) made the following statement regarding Vice President Mike Pence's meeting with farmers at R&J Johnson Farms and tour of the Gerdau Ameristeel in Minnesota.

"It is an honor to have Vice President Pence in the great state of Minnesota today, meeting with the hardworking farmers who feed and fuel this nation as well as the steelworkers who provide for our nation's defense, infrastructure, and manufacturing needs. I am glad Vice President Pence accepted my invitation to visit and recognizes Minnesota's strategic importance as we work to implement the United States-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement. I am working with President Trump and Vice President Pence to ensure that any plan going forward provides security for both those working in our mines and factories as well as our farmers who want to export more of their products."
