HERMANTOWN, MN – Congressman Pete Stauber (MN-08) announced that $1.37M in federal funding was secured for the City of Harris Municipal Water System Improvement and Water Main Looping project through the Senate Amendment to H.R.5371.

This critical investment will address structural vulnerabilities in Harris’s water system, create redundancy to prevent service disruptions, loop water mains to eliminate dead ends and boost fire protection, install shut-off valves for localized repairs, and upgrade aging infrastructure for greater reliability and water quality.
