Today, Congressman Pete Stauber (MN-08) was named the Chairman of the Energy and Mineral Resources Subcommittee within the House Natural Resources Committee. Congressman Stauber is the first Representative from Minnesota’s 8^th Congressional District to both sit on and lead the subcommittee.

Today, Congressman Pete Stauber (MN-08) joined Committee on House Administration Chairman Bryan Steil (WI-01), Majority Whip Tom Emmer (MN-06), Congressman Brad Finstad (MN-01), and Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach (MN-07) in sending a letter to Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon asking how his office plans to investigate claims that DACA recipients and other non-citizens are voting in Minnesota’s elections.

Today, Congressman Pete Stauber’s (MN-08) Notice to Air Missions (NOTAM) Improvement Act, legislation that will improve aviation safety by requiring clearer safety notifications to pilots and updates to the computer system, passed the House of Representatives. The bipartisan legislation, co-led by Congressman Mark DeSaulnier (CA-10), passed by a vote of 424 to 4.
