Congressman Stauber is the lead on the JUSTICE Act in the House of Representatives, while Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) is the lead in the Senate.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Last week, during a full Transportation and Infrastructure Committee markup on Chairman DeFazio's partisan surface transportation legislation, Congressman Pete Stauber (MN-08) led several commonsense amendments to reduce duplicative regulations, combat child labor, and secure America's supply chain. Despite the partisan nature of this markup, Stauber's amendment requiring that green technology funded by the bill not be built with critical minerals sourced by child labor, passed with bipartisan support.

HERMANTOWN, MN – Last night, Congressman Pete Stauber (MN-08) sent a letter to Governor Walz, demanding that he work with state legislative leaders to provide Greater Minnesota with their share of federal funds allocated by the CARES Act over twelve weeks ago. While Minneapolis and St. Paul received funds from the CARES Act months ago, local governments in Greater Minnesota have received nothing to date.

This legislation would allow the funds already saved in the Dependent Care Assistance Plan (DCAP) to rollover from 2020 to 2021.
