HERMANTOWN, MN – Today, Congressman Pete Stauber (MN-08) announced the hiring of Jacob Warkentin, who will serve as a Wounded Warrior Fellow in his Hermantown Office. Warkentin will work as a field representative, attend local meetings and events on behalf of the Congressman, and serve as a liaison to local veteran organizations.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Pete Stauber (MN-08), a former police officer of over twenty years, reintroduced his police reform legislation called the Just and Unifying Solutions to Invigorate Communities Everywhere (JUSTICE) Act. This legislation will fund better training for police officers, increase the number of body cameras, and provide important grants to police departments to help implement community policing best practices.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Pete Stauber (MN-08) sent a letter with other Congressional leaders to the Biden Administration, urging them to withdraw the nomination of Representative Deb Haaland (D-NM) as Secretary of the Interior. In the letter, Stauber and his colleagues cite Rep. Haaland's support of job-killing bills like the Green New Deal and her poor track record on issues like mining.
