WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Pete Stauber (MN-08) voted for the Paycheck Protection Program and Healthcare Enhancement Act to provide an additional $484 billion in relief to support small businesses, hospitals, and increased testing. Specifically, this package gives $310 billion to replenish the Paycheck Protection Program, which was created by the bipartisan CARES Act and has been providing relief to American businesses and workers negatively impacted by COVID-19. Funding for this popular program ran dry last week.
